Trust & verification

What we check, and what we refuse to keep

Verification only works if people are willing to go through it. That means being precise about what happens to your data — and honest about what we do not want.

Member

Anyone with a confirmed email address. Can browse, follow and reply to messages they receive.

Email confirmed

Industry member

Someone who has shown evidence of professional work — an agency board, published work, a portfolio we can reach.

At least one verified proof of work

Klerifai verified

Identity confirmed through our verification vendor. This is the badge that lets someone message anyone and appear first in search.

Identity check passed

Verified company

An organisation that has proved control of its domain and provided registration details.

Domain and registration verified

What we never store

  • Images or scans of identity documents
  • Biometric templates or face-match data
  • Passport, driving licence or national ID numbers
  • Anything the verification vendor collects beyond the outcome

Our vendor performs the check and returns a pass or fail plus a reference number. That reference is what we keep. If we are ever breached, there is no document library to lose.

One active session

Signing in somewhere new signs you out everywhere else, and you are told about it. An account cannot be quietly shared.

Two-step sign-in

A correct password is never enough on its own. Every sign-in also requires a code sent to your email or phone.

Guardian approval for minors

Accounts belonging to under-18s stay invisible until a guardian confirms, and some capabilities stay blocked permanently.

Reviews cannot be rewritten

The interaction record is append-only at the database level, not merely in the interface.
